Court Maintenance

When you install a Reilly court, you don't need to worry about servicing it for quite a while. However, when your court does need servicing, you will find R.J. Reilly's court service program is everything you would expect from the company whose name has become synonymous with quality court construction and innovation. R.J. Reilly has year round skilled service technicians who respond to the needs of court owners in an efficient and professional manner. One of the great strengths of Reilly's program though, is being able to diagnose problems before they occur and providing the appropriate service in a cost effective and timely manner that does not interfere with the season's play.

Each spring, R.J. Reilly performs court inspections throughout the country. These inspections are available to anyone who requests them. If and when service work is needed Reilly will send a detailed recommendation along with prices for the Owner's approval. Reilly will then schedule the work to be done prior to the start of the playing season. Because Reilly services so many courts in each geographic region, they are able to consolidate travel costs for the crews and pass the cost savings to the customer.

R.J. Reilly's crews are carefully trained and re-trained each spring by Dick and Jim Reilly who collectively have over 55 years of training experience between them. The crews must meet Reilly's high standards for quality and professional performance in order to be sent to any court site.

The most important service item on a platform tennis court is the painted traction surface. The Reillys developed and perfected the system of surfacing platform tennis courts and it has not been successfully adopted by anyone else. The painted Reilly court surface has stood the test of time more favorably than any other attempted copy of it. It lasts on average, one to two years longer than any other painted court surface, and looks better in the process! Just as importantly, R.J. Reilly's impressive reputation for standing behind its product includes all of its service work. If there is a rare occasion that something does not meet Reilly's high standards the first time around or perform as it should, they will come back to make whatever corrections are necessary at no cost to the court owner.
