Reilly Debuts Innovative Lighting System at Nationals
R. J. REILLY was pleased to have been chosen to provide four additional championship courts for the 1999 APTA Nationals held at the New York Athletic Club in Pelham, NY in March 1999.

REILLY used the opportunity to introduce its newest court innovation in the form of an improved, state-of-the-art lighting system. The new system replaces the six traditional quartz iodine fixtures with eight "shoebox" style metal halide fixtures per court.

"We have been researching and experimenting with metal halide fixtures for a number of years, " explained Jim Reilly, Director of Operations. "We know metal halide provides more energy efficient lighting for our customers and therefore lower long term cost. We wanted to find the fixture that would also provide the best and most consistent lighting, and the most attractive profile. We believe the particular fixtures we displayed at the Nationals meet these objectives and more."

REILLY's metal halide fixtures are of the highest quality with greater projected life expectancy than other types. The fixtures provide the best platform tennis lighting ever offered with virtually no shadows and minimal spillovers. The fixture and customized light poles are engineer certified.
